JTA Co-op Credit Union 2018 GSAT Bursary Awards helping the young to shine
The JTA Co-op Credit Union believes in the power of a good education to enlightened individuals and create better societies. That is why the Credit Union has obligated itself to support the development of education locally through the provision of bursaries and grants to students whose parents are members of the Credit Union. Since 2010 the Credit Union has been awarding these hard working students who sat the GSAT exams and are now set to journey on to high school. The Credit Union awards seventy students, five from each parish, with these bursaries and grants. The awards are tiered with first, second, third place winners all the way to fifth. Over $1.7m is divided among all the winners and the first place winner from each parish is invited to attend a special awards function.
