Lincoln James
Executive Officer Serving Region 4 St. James, Hanover & Westmoreland
Hailing from Hanover, Mr. James began his career as a Pre-Trained Teacher
at Jericho Primary School. After completing his professional training, he
became Principal of Irwin Hill All-Age School.
He earned a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of the West
Indies in 1976 and later a Master’s Degree in Education from Central
Connecticut State University. His leadership journey included serving as
Vice-Principal of Mouldon Secondary School and Principal of Howard Cooke
Primary School until retirement.
Mr. James joined the Board of Directors of the JTA Credit Union in 2001,
extending his service to cooperative governance.
We are a member owned financial organization that serves teachers and other workers in the education sector who are members of the Jamaica Teachers’ Association. Since our establishment we have worked hard to ensure that our members are able to ‘BE THEIR BEST’.
