JTA Credit Union Celebrates Excellence & Invests in Jamaica's Future
On August 27, 2026, the JTA Credit Union hosted its 2026 Annual Awards Luncheon, celebrating the outstanding achievements of students and scholars while awarding more than $4m in PEP bursaries, Tertiary Scholarships and Grants. The 2026 Annual Awards Luncheon was ultimately a celebration of what can happen when hard work meets opportunity. It was a celebration of young people who are dreaming big, tertiary students who are preserving despite challenges, & Families who continue to support and encourage them along the way. For us at the JTA Credit Union, this is what meaningful investments looks like. We are proud to support initiatives that help our members and their children learn, grow and reach their full potential. as we continue our mission of Serving our Members...Impacting Lives Positively, We remain committed to creating opportunities that can make a lasting difference, not only in the lives of our members today, but in the Jamaica we will build tomorrow. We are a member owned financial organization that serves teachers and other workers in the education sector who are members of the Jamaica Teachers’ Association. Since our establishment we have worked hard to ensure that our members are able to ‘BE THEIR BEST’.
